Social Media Manager (Part-time)

Little Moon Animation is a cutting-edge CG animation studio dedicated to creating compelling projects full of character and imaginative story. Located in Dublin, Ireland, as one of the first studios in Europe to produce a broadcast CG animated series using Unreal, we’re at the forefront of using real-time pipelines and technology to produce premium quality animation for audiences worldwide.

Location: Dublin, Ireland / Remote (Ireland-based applicants only)
Part-time | Freelance / Contract | Approx. 2–3 days per week

Little Moon Animation is looking for a creative and organised Part-Time Social Media Manager to help grow our online presence, with a particular focus on running and developing our YouTube channels.

About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about storytelling, animation, and digital engagement. You’ll work closely with our creative team to plan, produce, and schedule content across platforms - especially YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. A key focus will be managing the day-to-day of our YouTube strategy, uploading videos, crafting engaging titles/descriptions/thumbnails, and optimising for performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content calendar across key platforms

  • Manage and grow our YouTube channel (including Shorts, community posts, and playlists)

  • Write compelling copy, schedule posts, and respond to audience engagement

  • Liaise with production team to repurpose existing assets for social

  • Track performance analytics and adjust content strategy accordingly

  • Stay on top of digital trends in animation, family content, and kids’ media

You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in social media management (YouTube a must)

  • Excellent copywriting and content ideation skills

  • A keen eye for visual storytelling and video content

  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, Buffer/Later, YouTube Studio

  • Understanding of YouTube SEO, LLMO, metadata, and channel optimisation

  • Interest in animation and children’s content a bonus!

Terms

  • Flexible hours, remote-friendly (Ireland-based)

  • Part-time, approx. 2 days per week

  • Freelance/contract basis with potential to grow

Salary: Negotiable based on industry experience
